Thank you to those who journeyed with us from sept08 - july09, we had an amazing year where God really spoke to us, challenged us and changed us into the people he wants us to be.

Discipleship Academy will be running again soon. If you want to be involved chat to Chris Priddy

Discipleship academy is for you: If you are in years 12 or 13 at school (or equivalent at college or working) or a little older (up to early 20s).  It's for anyone who is up for committing to a year of going deeper in their relationship with Jesus working out what it means to follow him as a disciple.

Discipleship academy is about: Discipleship, its following Jesus, its living for him 24-7-365. A disciple is actively thinking about how to grow their faith and how to live God's way. They live each day knowing that they are living by grace. Disciples are real, they haven't got all the answers, they aren't all “more holy than thou”, they are simply passionate people who are up for the journey of living life in relationship with Jesus.

The academy year is scary, it could lead anywhere, putting God in control of your life isn't easy, it's incredible amazing and life changing. Are you up for it?

Discipleship academy low down: So what does it involve? If you want to get on board it will require you to give it your all, this is not for the half hearted, the more you put in the more you get out. It requires your life, but aims not to add stress or busy-ness to your already busy lives. Discipleship academy aims to help you be a complete and whole human-being not add to your human-doing activities.

Over the course of the year we will commit ourselves to studying the bible, praying together, learning together, looking out for one another, using our gifts and getting involved in serving and worshipping God in a bunch of different ways.

Our one aim is to help you to get closer to God and get the most out of living life with Him.
